How a tour works for beauty salons

A virtual tour of your beauty salon is a 360° tour in which visitors walk through the space themselves: the waiting area, the treatment room, the equipment. We take the photographs on location, build the tour and host it, and within four weeks of the day on location you can put it on your site and your Google Business Profile.

A beauty treatment is intimate. Your client lies down, closes her eyes and lets someone work on her face. Anyone doing that with you for the first time wants to know where she is going. Two things shape that feeling, and both are hard to capture in words: how clean it is and how calm it feels. In a tour both are visible.

Your range of treatments becomes more concrete too. At the machine for a skin improvement treatment an information point can explain what it does, what it costs and how long it takes. That is exactly the explanation that otherwise has to happen over the phone.

Hygiene becomes visible instead of promised

Every salon says it is clean. In a 360° image your client can check for herself, right into the corners of the treatment room.

Explain treatments at the machine

An information point at the device explains in two sentences what the treatment involves. That saves explanation over the phone and attracts better-prepared clients.

A first impression without an appointment

Anyone in doubt looks around first. A tour offers that introduction without anyone having to call or drop by.

Honestly

  • The room at the top is an impression. Your tour will be a real capture of your own business.
  • One day on location, two for a really large location.
  • It runs on our hosting. You get the link for your site, Google and your email signature.

Questions

Will clients or treatments appear in the images?

No. We photograph the space, not the people. In 360° photography everything is in view by definition, so we work at a moment when there are no clients. If you do want to show a treatment, we do that as a separate, staged shot with someone who has given permission.

I work from home. Is that possible too?

Yes, and it is one of the stronger uses. With a salon at home the unfamiliarity is greatest; a tour that shows only the treatment room, and not the rest of your house, removes that barrier. We agree in advance what is and is not shown.

Can I use the tour without a website?

Yes. The tour gets its own address with us and works on its own. You share it via a link, in your Instagram bio, in an email, or via your Google Business Profile. Your own site is useful, but not a requirement.
