How a tour works for care
A virtual tour of your care location is a 360° tour that clients and their families enter from your website. They see the rooms, the communal areas, the garden and the entrance, and can look around for themselves. We photograph the location in one day, build the tour and host it; it is live within four weeks of the day on location.

Moving into a care home is a free choice for almost no one and a daunting one for almost everyone. The decision is often made by children who live far away, under time pressure, based on a brochure. A tour does not replace the visit, but it removes the biggest uncertainty: what does it really look like, how big is a room, is it light.
For the client themselves it works even more directly. Someone who has seen the building beforehand does not arrive in a completely unfamiliar environment on moving day. For people with early dementia or anxiety, that recognition is no luxury.
Family far away can look along
The choice is rarely made alone. A link you share shows a son in Groningen the same room as the daughter who came to visit.
Less uncertainty before the move
Anyone who already knows the building arrives calmer. Walking the route from the entrance to the room in advance makes more difference on the day itself than you would think.
Built to be accessible
Keyboard control, named viewpoints and captions on spoken text. That is a requirement if you fall under accessibility legislation, and sensible when your audience is older.
Honestly
- The room at the top is an impression. Your tour will be a real capture of your own business.
- One day on location, two for a really large location.
- It runs on our hosting. You get the link for your site, Google and your email signature.
Questions
How do you handle client privacy?
We shoot when the rooms are empty. No clients appear in the images, and screens, files and name cards are removed beforehand or made unrecognisable afterwards. Our page about the GDPR sets out exactly what we look out for.
Can we show occupied rooms?
A furnished example room usually works better than an occupied one. It shows what fits and how big it is, without anyone’s belongings in view.
Does the location have to close during the shoot?
No. We shoot room by room, at moments when each one is free. Together with the location manager we plan the order so that daily life carries on.
Can the tour be used internally too?
Yes, for example to help new staff find their way or to walk through the evacuation route. Same tour, different audience.
